Last Monday, RCHS students who attend the Lake Cumberland Area Technology Center competed in the Region 11 SkillsUSA Competition at Pulaski County Area Technology Center. Through SkillsUSA, students are granted the opportunity to improve the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.
According to teacher and Club Sponsor Larry Huckaby, “Students who attend the LCATC have worked hard to earn the privilege to attend the Region 11 Competition. The 2019 Region Competition yielded great results, as many of our students advanced to state in April. We are very proud of everyone and excited to see them compete and the state level.”
