Yesterday, March 13, 2019, Russell County High School’s FFA Chapter traveled to Lindsey Wilson College to compete in the 2019 Regional Speaking Contest. FFA members worked very hard in preparation for this event–and it paid off. FFA members did amazingly well at their competition with many bringing home superior ratings and placings. Below is a list of the results of Russell County High’s FFA 2019 Regional Speaking Contest:
Prepared Public Speaking: Elizabeth Jones- received a Superior Rating and placed 1st
Extemporaneous Speaking: Brannon Lawson- received a Superior Rating and placed 3rd
FFA Creed Speaking: Elly Richardson- received a Superior Rating
FFA Quiz: Morgan Taylor- received a Superior Rating and placed 4th
Agriculture Mechanics Impromptu Speech: Jordan Helm- received a Superior Rating and placed 2nd
Beef Impromptu Speech: Audrey Burton- received a Superior Rating
Crop Impromptu Speech: Cali Hale- received an Excellent Rating
Dairy Impromptu Speech: Skyla Lawless- received a Superior Rating and placed 1st
Fruit and Vegetable Impromptu Speech: Sophie Shearer- received a Superior Rating
Greenhouse Impromptu Speech: Morgan Jones- received a Superior Rating
