Last Friday was Commitment Day for Seniors at the Lake Cumberland Area Technology Center. It is a special day for LCATC Seniors where they discuss the importance of life after high school, and how to be prepared.
Career Readiness and Academic Readiness were both very important aspects that were discussed with Seniors that day. Each student was challenged to complete their Industry Certification in their individual area(s), and reviewed how the ACT, Dual-Credit, and AP Exams can be used to prepare for life after high school.
As a sign of their commitment and dedication, Seniors “signed the pole” in LCATC. Through this, students showed that they would maintain great attendance, work hard, and prepare for the transition from High School to life.
Class of 2020, we are so proud of all your accomplishments, and can’t wait to see what you accomplish in the future. Thank you LCATC for this important opportunity for Seniors!
