On Tuesday October 15th the RCHS FFA traveled to Bear Wallow to compete in the Lake Cumberland Regional Archery contest and participate in the Regional Fall Delegate meeting.
There were 14 RCHS students who competed in the archery shoot. Out of the eleven schools participating, Russell County placed second to McCreary Central, and Vinson Kerns was the highest scorer for RCHS.
FFA President Elizabeth Jones led the fall Regional Meeting. Makayln Wade and Kara Ryder represented the delegates for our FFA chapter. After the competition students toured Bear Wallow and Haney’s Apple Farm.
Russell County FFA not only leads the way to new opportunities, it gives members a way to express their interests and show their talents. We are very proud of all they do!
