On Friday the Mighty Laker Football Team traveled to Franklin-Simpson to face the Wildcats for the first round of the playoffs. Unfortunately, the Lakers came up short with a score of 14-37. Patrick Bernard led the team with 17 total tackles. The Lakers finished the season 6-5. Congratulations the team and Coach Richardson on a good season.

We would also like to congratulate the Laker Cheerleaders for winning the Regional Competition this past weekend. Full details are here.

The Laker Bowling Team hosted Central Hardin on Saturday. The Lady Lakers fought hard but came up 11 pins short in the last game to lose the match 4 games to 3. Brooklynne Carol had the highest score for the girls with a 175. The Boys’ team had an impressive day as they demolished the Bruins 7-0. The highest scorer was Zach Kean with a 256.

That’s all for this week in Laker Sports! Good Luck to all teams competing this week!!
