61 RCHS juniors and 42 seniors were inducted into the National Honor Society this morning at the ANC. These selected students were invited to join the National Honor Society by maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher. Principal Darren Gossage and Russell County Schools Superintendent Michael Ford spoke at the ceremony, congratulating the new members.
The National Honor Society requires members to demonstrate a commitment to scholarship, service, leadership, and character. At the ceremony, members recited the National Honor Society pledge, promising the maintain high scholastic standing, an untarnished character, courageous leadership, and service to others.
