On Wednesday February 12 the RCHS Technology Student Association (“TSA”) club, under the leadership of Mrs. Carol Ackerman, traveled to Nashville on Wednesday to attend 3DExperienceWorld2020.
At this event, students got the opportunity to participate in a panel discussion with professional engineers and a Disney Imagineer. The panel included talks of post-graduation goals and opportunities for students who would enjoy a career in technology.
The students were also able to visit various vendors across the event. Some examples of technology present at the event were 3D printers that could print metal parts and a 3D printer that recycled used water bottles as material. The students were also able to experience a few systems that merged Virtural Reality (“VR”) with Computer Aided Design (“CAD”).
We are proud of our TSA club and the exciting things they are doing this year!
