On October 20th through the 24th, Will Stephens and Lucas Wray competed in The Mossy Oak Bassmaster’s National Tournament out of Kentucky Lake. This is known as one of the toughest lakes in the state to fish. Lucas Wray says, “It was tough fishing, but we managed to do our best and fish it out. We spent many hours practice fishing and preparing ourselves for the tournament days ahead.”
The two man team of Stephens and Wray ended up placing 25th out of 250 teams from across the nation. This is a huge accomplishment, especially factoring in the difficulty of location as well as number of teams there. Both were honored to have had the chance to compete in this tournament and made some great memories. Congratulations on an amazing finish in the The Mossy Oak Bassmaster’s National High School Tournament.
